The first conversation is free

Forty-five minutes. If coaching won't help you, I'll say so and we're done.

No contract, ever

Month to month. Stop whenever. There is no term to buy out and no cancellation call.

Prices are on the website

You know what it costs before you speak to me. The number doesn't change based on how the call goes.

You keep everything

Plans, documents, ad accounts, profiles — created in your name, yours when you leave.

Pricing

Three brackets, published.

Bigger budgets need more hands on them — more keywords to watch, more negatives to add, more waste to cut. That is the only reason the fee moves.

The auction

You don't just outbid people.

Every search runs an auction, and the highest bid does not automatically win it. Google ranks on bid multiplied by expected quality, which is the only reason a small business can outrank a national franchise.

Match types decide who sees you

Broad match shows your ad to anything Google considers related, which on a small budget means paying to find out what "related" means. Phrase and exact match cost more per click and waste far less. We start tight and widen deliberately, rather than starting wide and paying tuition.

Negative keywords are where the budget is saved

The searches you refuse to pay for matter more than the ones you bid on. Every campaign accumulates a negative list — "free", "DIY", "salary", "courses", competitor names you do not want to fund — and reviewing that list is a monthly job, not a setup task.

Conversion tracking comes first, always

Before a single dollar runs we make sure a phone call, a form and a booking each register as a conversion. Without that, every optimisation afterward is guesswork dressed up as strategy, and the report at the end of the month measures clicks instead of jobs.

Campaign types

Not all Google ads are search ads

Search

Text ads against typed intent. The highest-intent traffic Google sells and where nearly every small-business account should start. If this does not work, nothing further down this list will fix it.

Display remarketing

Banner ads following people who already visited. Cheap per impression, useless as a first touch, genuinely effective at recovering a considered purchase someone abandoned.

Performance Max

Google spends across every surface it owns and reports back in aggregate. Powerful with enough conversion data behind it, and an expensive black box without it.

The first 90 days

What actually happens, and when

Week 1

Research and access

Keyword research with real cost data for your category and city, competitor ad teardown, account access in your name, and conversion tracking verified end to end.

Weeks 2–3

Build and launch

Campaign structure, ad groups tight enough that the ad matches the search, multiple ad variants per group, and an initial negative list built before launch rather than after.

Weeks 4–6

Cutting the waste

Search term reports reviewed and negatives added. This is usually where cost per lead drops fastest, and it is unglamorous work that most cheap management simply does not do.

Weeks 7–12

Optimising toward a number

Manual bidding first, then a move to automated strategies once there is enough conversion data for them to work with. Budget shifts toward the keywords producing actual jobs.

Questions

Google Ads, answered

How much does Google Ads cost in Ontario?
Two costs, and they are not the same thing. The ad spend goes to Google and depends entirely on your category — a click on a general enquiry keyword might be a couple of dollars, while competitive legal, dental and emergency-trade keywords in the GTA run far higher. The management fee is ours, it is published, and it starts at $300 a month. On the call we pull the actual keyword costs for your category and your city rather than guessing at them.
Why is my Quality Score lowering my costs, or raising them?
Google ranks ads on bid multiplied by expected quality, not bid alone. A more relevant ad with a landing page that matches what was searched can outrank a higher bid and pay less per click for the privilege. That is why we will push back on sending every keyword to your homepage — the mismatch is charged to you on every single click.
What are negative keywords and why do they matter so much?
They are the searches you refuse to pay for. Without them a plumbing campaign pays for "plumbing courses", "plumber salary" and "how to fix a tap yourself". On a small budget, negatives are usually where the first real savings come from — often more than any bid adjustment.
Should I use Performance Max?
Sometimes, and not first. Performance Max spreads budget across Search, Display, YouTube, Gmail and Maps with limited visibility into where it went. On a small budget that opacity is expensive. We normally start with a tightly built search campaign, prove the conversion tracking is accurate, and only then consider handing Google more discretion.
